The foundation of the workspace
Scripture · Homiletic Directory · Catechism · Church documents
Relevant excerpts from the source library support homily preparation. References alongside the material help revisit the documents and check their context.
Homileo supports preparation. Prayer, discernment and responsibility for the preached word remain with the pastoral minister.

What is Homileo?
Homileo is a live digital platform and pastoral workspace. It supports Catholic priests, theologians and catechists in preparing homilies, religious education lessons and materials for everyday ministry.
Who is Homileo for?
For priests, pastoral ministers, deacons, theologians, seminarians and catechists. Homileo combines homily preparation, religious education lesson plans and ministry materials with the daily Gospel and a personal archive.
How is Homileo different from a general AI chat?
It is an organised workspace, not just a chat window. Material preparation brings together the selected day and readings, the audience's context and source excerpts supplied to the generator. The draft can then be edited and saved in a personal archive.
Which sources support homily preparation?
Homileo uses biblical texts and a library of Church documents, including the Homiletic Directory, the Catechism and encyclicals. Selected excerpts are supplied to the generator. Source references help review the draft; they do not mean Church approval or guarantee error-free AI output.
Can I adapt the text to my community?
Yes. Add personal insights and experiences, the listeners' questions or observations from everyday ministry. Then refine the draft in the editor. Personal context helps shape material for real people.
Does Homileo replace personal preparation?
No. Materials are drafts for further work and are not approved Church teaching. Review them with care before use. Prayer, personal meditation and responsibility for preaching remain with the minister.
Can I save and reopen my work?
Yes. Save your own materials in your archive, return to them later and use the reading view.
Where can I check my access?
Available features, limits and access plans are described in the user account.
Does my support renew automatically?
No. Each contribution is a one-time payment. You decide whether to support Homileo again.
